Robert H. Cranshaw, Jr. founded Brazos Contractors and Development in 1995 after working 14 years in the commercial real estate market. An initial construction and development project for a retail center in Clear Lake led to new business opportunities that demonstrated that multiple approaches to different types of construction and development projects could be utilized successfully.
Robert is the President and sole shareholder of Brazos Contractors and is involved in the day-to-day operations in planning, new business development, customer relations and finance/accounting decisions.
With 35 years in the construction industry, David Kaszak is charged with managing multiple jobs at the same time – with task encompassing estimating, purchasing and the completion of punch lists. His experience includes projects that are groundup freestanding, in-line build-outs and renovation projects throughout Texas.
After 11 years in the Oil & Gas Industry, Amy Nance joined the Brazos team in 2014 and brings over 20 years of accounting experience to Brazos Contractors and Development.
Amy serves as Controller for Brazos and handles/oversees all accounting and finance functions as well as Human Resources. Supervising a team of 5 staff members, Amy has brought structure/organization to Brazos’ Accounting Department.
Ron joined the Brazos team in April of 2012 and has become a leader for the company as a senior project manager and our regional operations manager. He currently runs the Austin and San Antonio markets as well as our out of state projects. Ron has vast experience in the construction industry with over 20 years in the business from a laborer to an owner. His various responsibilities include business development, job contracting, and coordination with clients, project managers, construction managers, architects and superintendents.
Joseph Cranshaw has worked with Brazos Contractors since he was 16. He has grown through the company from organizing the warehouse to now project manager. As a superintendent he has managed construction in both Texas and in Colorado. He has managed and supervised jobs such as Domino’s Pizza, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Mod Pizza, Le Creuset and several tenant buildouts.

Francisco started with Brazos in 2007 as a Superintendent. Before starting with Brazos he worked in residential construction as a general laborer. In 2013, we transitioned Francisco to project management. Currently he has an ongoing relationship with Starbucks assisting in renovations and new-build construction all over Houston. He has completed projects ranging from restaurants to retail for a variety of clients both domestic and international such as John Lobb, Potbelly’s and Jersey Mike’s. “My team and I never stray from a challenge and acknowledge that no project is complete until our client is satisfied”.
